Installing elevator construction for staton Almere Poort

By commission of K. Dekker BV, Octatube has installed the steel construction of 2 glass elevators for the future train station Almere Poort (part of the Flevolijn). The station has been designed by Arcadis and will be used in December of this year.



The elevator shaft with a height of 12,5 meters has been prefabricated as much as possible. The entire construction is fixed with rigid joints and the nodes (for the glass fixation) and other separate parts are assembled in the factory where possible.
