The Cultural Centre in Sneek is seen as the home for amateur and professional artists, volunteers and all citizens of Sneek and wide surroundings.
For this Centre of the Arts Octatube has realised a glass roof that connects four different buildings, including a monumental church (the Noorderkerk) and pop venue 'het Bolwerk'. This new glass atrium is seen as the lifeline of the building complex. Thursday the 1st of November 2012 Queen Beatrix has officially opened the Cultural Quarter in Sneek.
