First glass panels in cablenet facades Market Hall

Last week Octatube has installed the first glass panels at the cablenet facades of the Market Hall in Rotterdam. Because of the pre-stressed facade system the glass facades at both ends of the building are as transparent as possible. The transparency activates the relation between inside and outside. As a result also the display of the artwork in the interior reaches its full potential.

Although the building is still under construction, the internal space has already got its own nickname: 'the Sistene Chapel' of Rotterdam.
