Mock-up cablenet facade Markthal

This month the visual mock-ups for the Markthal in Rotterdam have been presented in the Octatube factory. A large part of the cablenet facade has been erected, where the different connection details are exhibited.

On the smaller glass balustrade mock-up also an impact test has been executed.

For the Markthal project in Rotterdam, Octatube realises the two large cablenet facades and the glass balustrades of the apartments in collaboration with (among others): Provast, JP van Eesteren, DHV, MVRDVand Inbo.

The building site is in full progress and a webcam has been installed.
