Octatube receives ISO 45001 certificate

Octatube always pays much attention to the safety and health of everyone working for us or with us. The VCA** certification has kept us focused for years. With receiving an internationally recognized standard in the field of health and safety at work, ISO 45001, Octatube complies with national and international standards and guidelines in this field.

Octatube keeps growing towards a progressive safety culture. We are continuously working on reducing and preventing unsafe working methods and situations by assessing risks in a timely manner and setting up a management system that continuously improves on this. This results in healthy colleagues and subcontractors working at our sites. It is essential that everyone is aware of their responsibility in this regard. We are therefore proud to have been awarded the ISO 45001 certificate, which brings us another step closer to improving our safety culture.

ISO 45001 is the first globally recognised standard for safety and health in the workplace. Because we carry out many projects abroad, this certificate is particularly useful for us. It is a clear framework for providing employees and visitors with a safe and healthy workplace, for reducing industrial accidents and occupational diseases and for promoting sustainable employability.

We hang our ISO 45001 next to our ISO 9001 certificate, the VCA** company certification and FPC certificate and continue to develop and improve in the area of health and safety- as fitted for a B-corp - in which achieving the Safety Culture Ladder is the next step.
