The cruise terminal in IJmuiden is a characteristic building near the sea. Klunder Architect designed a glass volume covered by a hovering and undulating roof.
The glass volume consists of elliptical steel portals. The laminated glass panels are fixed by means of Quattro and Duo nodes in stainless steel.

The wavy roof, also blocking direct sunlight and warmth, is made of perforated aluminium. A 18 meters long glass bridge is connecting the first floor with the adjacent customs building.
