Opening Moreelsebrug Utrecht

Since this morning cyclists and pedestrians are crossing the train tracks at Utrecht Central Station via the Moreelsebrug. The bridge was officially opened by children of elementary school Puntenburg, together with the Station City Councilor Victor Everhardt and Regional Director Cees de Vries of ProRail. Octatube is responsible for the engineering, production and installation of all glass balustrades with integrated LED lighting.

The 275 meter long bridge is designed by the architectural office of Cepezed. Its construction works have taken approximately one year.
