A visit by Queen Máxima

Today on "Entrepreneur's Day", Her Majesty Queen Máxima, together with the Dutch Committee for Entrepreneurship and Financing, State Secretary Keijzer of Economic and Climate Affairs (EZK) and other members, came to Octatube to present the Annual Report the State of SMEs.

Octatube had prepared this visit for quite some time. This morning was the day we had been looking forward to and Mick and Nils Eekhout were ready to welcome everyone.

After arrival, the entire group was given a guided tour of the company and the factory to explain how Octatube operates. Our design and build approach in which multiple disciplines work together is quite unique in the Netherlands. 

After the guided tour, the annual report with the new figures was presented in the factory by the Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Goddijn, to State Secretary Keijzer of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Environment.

It was a special day for Octatube. All employees were very honored to welcome Queen Máxima, State Secretary Keijzer and all other guests, to show and tell them about the work we do. At the end we all took a picture with the Queen. What a beautiful day, a day we will remembered for a long time to come!
