Challenging Glass Conference 2024

As a sponsor, Octatube looks back on the successful Challenging Glass Conference 9, which recently took place in Delft (TU Delft). Kicking of this conference, more than 100 leading experts gathered at Octatube for a technical excursion with a presentation and a tour of our new building.

The international bi-annual conference, organized by TU Delft, TU Munich, and Ghent University, brings together designers, engineers, researchers, and industrial partners to discuss the architectural and structural use of glass. The conference is the perfect platform to showcase challenging projects, innovative applications, and cutting-edge research, facilitating knowledge sharing and networking.

Together with Arup and Forwood Facades, we shared insights during one of the paper presentations about a challenging, iconic heritage refurbishment project: the headquarters of Channel 4 in London (UK). This project highlights our collective dedication to innovation and sustainability in the glass industry.
