Van Leeuwen Tubes: glass work placed

The transparent glass showroom of the Van Leeuwen Buizen Groep in Zwijndrecht is almost complete. The supporting structure is in place, the glass is fully installed and we have started kitting. Placing the top row of panes proved to be a tough job. The steel columns on the outside were installed earlier. That meant we had to get the glass panels in between.

Thanks to the guitar lift that could reach under the columns with a jip at a special angle, we were able to insert the glass panels very precisely, clamp them in and mount them accurately.
