Construction of our new headquarters in full swing
Construction of our new headquarters is in full swing. All the external glass panels are in place. The roof of the new factory hall is already full of solar panels. And inside, progress is clearly visible as well. All the interior walls are up, including the wooden door frames.
Technical installations are currently being installed. They remain in sight as we are not installing a suspended ceiling. The climate ceiling ensures that spaces can be cooled, heated and ventilated. The CO2 concentration in the room determines whether ventilation is increased or decreased to create a comfortable and healthy work environment for all Octans. Heat/cold generation is done through a soil system (geothermal), and the new building (both office and hall) has a primary energy consumption of <0 kWh/m2.
Last week, the black steel spiral staircase with blank coating was hoisted into place. And this week, three overhead cranes are installed in the factory hall.
Fully on schedule to move in at the end of this year!
